This February and March in Toronto, Brookfield Properties’ Our Glowing Hearts will shine brightly, like the Canadian flag, to raise awareness and funds for CAN Fund.

Becoming a CAN Fund recipient provides $8,000 in direct funding to help cover essential costs such as: equipment, coaching, travel to training camps and competitions, nutrition, physiotherapy, team fees and basic living expenses.

- 63% of athletes applying to CAN Fund work part-time jobs after training 6–8 hours a day.
- CAN Fund has supported 80% of Canadian athletes at every Games since Athens 2004.
- CAN Fund receives no government funding. Every dollar comes from generous Canadians and Canadian companies.
- On average, 800 athletes from over 60 summer, winter, able-bodied, and Paralympic sports apply to CAN Fund each application.
